bobhellbringer I saw them by chance at Easy Street Records in Seattle and they were fantastic. Strong, noisy, guitar forward fuzz. I love how the lead vocals can pierce through the noise, then fade back and become part of the soundscape.

Take me out To the edge of the land Where the pavement turns to sand And the sea breaks its back When you find yourself alone And all your friends have quit or laid down or died It's time for you to stand up And break you back

Teeth 04:28
When your head on the wall Paint your face on the crowd because you know that you're the one You are the one and you'll be there When your head is on the wall you'll be there Paint your teeth on the crowd because you know that you're the one (that we don't want) We will we will win again Take your teeth and we'll put them on the wall On the wall.
3.
You were born in a sawtooth Lived outside for your first ten years You stood up straight, spoke out Even when you don't know what to say But that's alright, You were speaking bird anyway. You are what you're made of. You are what you are. Thrown under the bus so many times before You've got thick skin it's made of wood You stood up straight, spoke out Even when you don't know what to say But that's alright, You were speaking bird anyway You are what you're made of. You are what you are.
4.
Crowns 03:08
All the crowns are out The crowns are down See the thieves lined up below And they're ready to storm the gates All the crowns are out Their domes are shining All the kings are lined up on the rails With their shovels Ready for snakes They say Show us your heart Show us what you're made of

about

The album art was born of sonic experiments with the basic tools of architects- felt tip pens and paper. Drawing inspiration from the works of Sol Lewitt and Jonnie Nelson these compositions capture the frequencies and wavlengths of each of Town Forest’s instruments- guitar, bass and drums.

Vibration translates the frequencies from each amplified instrument through the pens and onto the paper capturing the noise of a typical rehearsal. In a way, these are another sort of recording- another way of experiencing the band’s work.
